FIM Rally Discovery. Il Museo Etrusco di Chianciano / The Chianciano's Etruscan Museum
Nuovo appuntamento con il Rally FIM Discovery. Nella rubrica settimanale dedicata al Rally FIM i motociclisti avranno l'occasione di conoscere più a fondo le bellezze storiche e paesaggistiche e le specialità enogastronomiche del territorio toscano.
Quest'oggi si parlerà del Museo Etrusco di Chianciano Terme, considerato uno tra i più bei musei etruschi sia per la ricchezza degli oggetti esposti che per il suggestivo allestimento.
Più che un museo è stato definito una completa mostra sulla civiltà etrusca. La visita è infatti organizzata per sezioni tematiche che illustrano tutti gli aspetti della vita e della morte degli antichi abitanti della Toscana.
L’edificio che ospita l’esposizione è un vecchio granaio di inizi ‘800; molto suggestivo il piano interrato, un tempo adibito a cantina, con galleria scavata nella sabbia.
La struttura museale nasce nel 1997 a seguito di un lungo lavoro svolto dai Volontari della locale Associazione Geo-archeologica. Il loro lavoro ha permesso di creare una struttura museale che espone reperti etruschi contestualizzati al loro ritrovamento.
Il museo si sviluppa su un percorso di 4 piani nei quali si racconta la straordinaria storia del mondo antico in queste terre.

Today we will talk about the Etruscan Museum of Chianciano Terme, considered one of the most beautiful museums Etruscans in Italy. It's more than a museum: it is a complete exhibition on the Etruscan civilization. The visitor can discover thematic sections that illustrate all aspects of the life and death of the ancient inhabitants of Tuscany.
The building that hosts the exhibition is an old barn from the early 19th century; the basement, once used as a cellar, with a tunnel dug into the sand, is very suggestive. The museum structure was founded in 1997 following a long work carried out by the volunteers of the local Geo-archaeological Association. The visitor's path spread over a 4 floors route in which the extraordinary history of the ancient world in these lands is told.

Aujourd'hui, on parle du Musée étrusque de Chianciano Terme, considéré comme l'un des les plus beaux musées étrusques tant pour la richesse des objets exposés que pour la disposition évocatrice.Plus qu'un musée, il a été défini comme une exposition complète sur la civilisation étrusque. La visite est en effet organisée en sections thématiques qui illustrent tous les aspects de la vie et de la mort des anciens habitants de la Toscane.
Le bâtiment qui accueille l'exposition est une ancienne grange du début du XIXe siècle ; le sous-sol, autrefois utilisé comme cave, avec un tunnel creusé dans le sable, est très suggestif.La structure du musée a été fondée en 1997 suite à un long travail réalisé par les bénévoles de l'Association géo-archéologique locale. Leur travail a permis de créer une structure muséale qui expose les trouvailles étrusques contextualisées à leur découverte.Le musée s'étend sur un parcours de 4 étages dans lequel est racontée l'extraordinaire histoire du monde antique sur ces terres.
